The History of KOGEDO

  • It all started with our trips to Japan. We walked through antique markets, fascinated by these everyday objects that carried a whole story within them. Old silk haori , tea bowls that were used during hundreds of ceremonies , prints forgotten in attics ...

    With each find, we asked ourselves: "What if someone in France could give a second life to these wonders?" The idea germinated, then it became obvious. We wanted to create a space where everyone could adopt a piece of Japan, whether it was a small everyday object or an exceptional piece.
