    In the foreground, a young woman in a kimono enjoys the evening coolness (yūsuzumi 夕涼み), a summer Japanese tradition where people come to admire the Sumida River after the heat of the day.

    In the background, the Ryōgoku-bashi bridge spans a river bustling with pleasure boats (yakatabune), while lanterns discreetly light the scene under a star-filled sky.
