    Description:

    Japanese folding fan (sensu 扇子) made of cardboard, decorated with a red and white gradient, enhanced with gilding and several stylized kamon 家紋 emblems.
    The frame is made of black lacquered wood, simple and well-finished.

    This type of fan is traditionally used as an accessory in Japanese arts, particularly kabuki 歌舞伎, nihon buyō 日本舞踊 or during performances and ceremonies.
    Today, it can also be appreciated as a decorative object, thanks to its strong graphic design and classic red and gold colors.
