    Description:

    Japanese dance fan (mai-sensu 舞扇子) made of cardstock, decorated with an ivory and vermilion red gradient, adorned with gold swirls evoking ryūsui 流水 : a motif representing running water and its movements
    The frame is made of black lacquered wood, simple and elegant.

    The design combines a bokashi ぼかし gradient, transitioning from ivory to vermilion. Gold lines spread across the surface. Both sides are decorated.

    The gold motif stands out particularly well against the ivory and vermilion gradient, while highlighting the movements of the ryūsui.

    A beautiful traditional Japanese fan; we love its gold motif that stands out superbly against the ivory and vermilion red gradient! The curves of the ryūsui give the whole piece a lot of movement and character!
