    Mikan named it Kurenai Kiku (紅菊 – scarlet chrysanthemums). This haori celebrates the alliance between two emblematic Japanese flowers: the light cherry blossoms of spring (sakura) and the majestic chrysanthemums of autumn (kiku).

    The main fabric, a deep, warm autumnal red, is adorned with delicate golden sakura, like a floral rain catching the light. On the collar, sleeves, and especially on the back, a sumptuous yoke features large kiku in a refined composition.

    👉 This haori brings together two strong symbols of Japanese aesthetics: the sakura, spring flower, which embodies ephemeral beauty, and the kiku, autumn chrysanthemum, associated with longevity and enduring light.

    A pair of traditional, carefully selected matching haori himo is offered with this piece.

    📏 Size & Fit:
    This haori corresponds to a size SM. Its fluid cut easily suits:
    – oversize for XS
    – ample drape (Japanese style) for S
    – fits an M with a slightly more fitted effect

    All our Atelier haori have a unisex cut.

    Our model Mikan is 1m58 tall. This modern haori will also fit larger sizes very well.

    🧵 Hand-sewn Japanese fabric, with back, collar and sleeve yoke. This is not a vintage product.

    🧺 Material & Care: 100% cotton. Gentle wash at 30 °C. Do not tumble dry. Iron inside out.
