Size: SM – Unique piece, hand-sewn in our Parisian workshop.
Named Nohara no Tsuru (野原の鶴 – cranes of the prairies) by Mikan, this haori pays tribute to the peaceful landscapes of Hokkaido, where Japanese cranes take flight over vast green plains bathed in light. A rare and silent scene, emblematic of the northern archipelago in summer, inspired this garment.
The body of the haori is made from a traditional Japanese fabric with an asanoha pattern (hemp leaf) in a soft pistachio green. This pattern symbolizes growth and protection, like a promise of renewal. The beige yoke in the back, as well as the collar and sleeves, features white cranes spreading their wings among golden clouds, as if viewed from the ground, gliding across the sky above the fields.
A beige haori himo tie selected in Japan completes this lightweight piece.
A haori full of breath and poetry, between nature and elegance.
📏 Size & Fit:

💡 Mikan's recommendation: wear it with cream, sand, or light khaki tones to find the gentle balance of northern landscapes.
♡ Mikan's Favorite: "I imagined the cranes soaring over the Hokkaido prairies, their silent, almost ceremonial flight. This haori is a moment of suspended calm."
