    👘 Exterior:

    Vintage men's haori in shiny black silk, fluid and elegant. The fabric has a subtle texture typical of woven silks from the Showa era, with slight iridescent reflections depending on the light. The cut is loose, traditional, and the material drapes with great suppleness. A simple, refined, and easy-to-wear piece.

    🟣 Lining:

    Lining in ivory silk with horizontal stripes in shades of grey, black, and beige, with a graphic style. Fluid, soft, and still very luminous despite time.

    Care instructions – Haori KOGEDO

    Cleaning

    • Dry clean only, by a professional.
      For silk haori, choose a dry cleaner experienced in handling silk.
    • Do not wash with water (by hand or machine): traditional dyes may bleed, especially shibori fabrics.

    After the port

    • After wearing, it is recommended to simply air it on a hanger, away from direct sunlight.

    Garment Steaming

    • Gentle steam ironing is possible, without direct contact with the fabric.
    • Generally, it is not recommended to use a traditional iron. Use a protective cloth between the haori and the iron if necessary.
    • For textured haori, do not iron!

    Odours

    • We preferentially select haori that do not have a strong odor.
    • In case of a light odor, a very fine and localized misting, from a distance, of a mild fabric spray suitable for delicate fibers, followed by air drying.
    • Always perform a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area

    Precautions

    • Avoid rain and prolonged humidity.
    • Avoid direct sun exposure.
    • Avoid repeated rubbing and contact with light-colored textiles.
    • Do not spray perfume directly onto the fabric.
