    Exterior:

    Vintage men's haori in deep navy silk blend wool. The fabric is quite thick, with a beautiful drape and a structured fall that perfectly retains the traditional haori shape. The texture is slightly grainy, understated and elegant. A masculine, timeless and easy-to-pair piece.

    Lining:

    Polyester lining illustrated with a Japanese ukiyo-e style scene, depicting a narrative landscape with bridges, processions, castles, mountains and boats. The design is delicate and detailed, with subtle shades of grey, blue and ochre. In places, there are slight raised paint highlights, adding depth and character to the scene.

    🏯 Origin: Japan — found in Yamaguchi Prefecture.

    Condition:

    – Thick outer fabric, spotless and with excellent drape
    – Lining in good condition, colors well preserved, with some original raised paint highlights
    – Two very discreet micro snags on the back of the right sleeve, almost imperceptible (see photos)

    🦝 Our opinion:

    A masculine haori with discreet and profound charm, which perfectly plays on the contrast between a sober and structured exterior, and a richly illustrated lining, typical of ancient Japanese haori.

    Of course, we won't hide the fact that this Ukiyo-e inspired scene particularly caught our eye!

    An ideal piece to wear open over a white T-shirt, a shirt, or a more formal outfit, perfectly suited for a contemporary style.
