    👘 Exterior:

    Vintage men's haori in black silk, with a deep and elegant appearance, and subtle reflections depending on the light. The silk has a fine and irregular texture, characteristic of Japanese textiles from the Showa era. The cut is ample and traditional, offering a beautiful drape while remaining fluid. This haori is a montsuki gomon-tsuki, adorned with five Maru Mokkō kamon, testifying to a high level of formality and understated refinement.

    🟣 Lining:

    Lining in horizontally striped silk in grayish blue, old rose, and ivory tones, with a graphic and delicately nuanced finish. The silk is soft, luminous, and creates a refined contrast with the black exterior.

    Care instructions – Haori KOGEDO

    Cleaning

    • Dry clean only, by a professional.
      For silk haori, choose a dry cleaner experienced in handling silk.
    • Do not wash with water (by hand or machine): traditional dyes may bleed, especially shibori fabrics.

    After the port

    • After wearing, it is recommended to simply air it on a hanger, away from direct sunlight.

    Garment Steaming

    • Gentle steam ironing is possible, without direct contact with the fabric.
    • Generally, it is not recommended to use a traditional iron. Use a protective cloth between the haori and the iron if necessary.
    • For textured haori, do not iron!

    Odours

    • We preferentially select haori that do not have a strong odor.
    • In case of a light odor, a very fine and localized misting, from a distance, of a mild fabric spray suitable for delicate fibers, followed by air drying.
    • Always perform a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area

    Precautions

    • Avoid rain and prolonged humidity.
    • Avoid direct sun exposure.
    • Avoid repeated rubbing and contact with light-colored textiles.
    • Do not spray perfume directly onto the fabric.
