This antique haori plays on elegance and subtle details. The fabric is a beautiful mouse grey, covered with fine, irregular white lines that form a traditional Tsuyu Shiba pattern – dew-kissed grasses.
🔶 Outer pattern
Tsuyu Shiba (露芝) pattern: dew on grasses, discreet and flowing, woven in white thread on a textured grey background. The design evokes blades of grass bent under the weight of the dew – an image very present in Japanese aesthetics. The dew will disappear with the morning sun and thus symbolizes the ephemeral. The rendering is light, almost floating, very easy to wear daily.
🌸 Inner lining
Slightly satin white silk, with a pastel floral design. The lining is beautifully crafted, even if it shows some signs of age, which do not detract from the charm of the piece.
📏 Dimensions
- Wingspan (sleeve to sleeve): 126 cm

🦝 Why we love it
A simple and elegant haori. We love the symbolism of the Tsuyu Shiba pattern! Wear it with jeans, wide trousers or even a dress to break the codes.

Care instructions – Haori KOGEDO
Cleaning
- Dry clean only, by a professional.
For silk haori, choose a dry cleaner experienced in handling silk. - Do not wash with water (by hand or machine): traditional dyes may bleed, especially shibori fabrics.
After the port
- After wearing, it is recommended to simply air it on a hanger, away from direct sunlight.
Garment Steaming
- Gentle steam ironing is possible, without direct contact with the fabric.
- Generally, it is not recommended to use a traditional iron. Use a protective cloth between the haori and the iron if necessary.
- For textured haori, do not iron!
Odours
- We preferentially select haori that do not have a strong odor.
- In case of a light odor, a very fine and localized misting, from a distance, of a mild fabric spray suitable for delicate fibers, followed by air drying.
- Always perform a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area
Precautions
- Avoid rain and prolonged humidity.
- Avoid direct sun exposure.
- Avoid repeated rubbing and contact with light-colored textiles.
- Do not spray perfume directly onto the fabric.
