    🍶 Detailed description:

Japanese porcelain bowl in late Imari style (伊万里焼), made in Arita (有田) at the end of the Meiji period (circa 1890–1910).
It illustrates all the refinement of Japanese porcelain, combining cobalt blue, iron red, and gold highlights (kinrande) in a luminous and balanced composition.

The exterior decor alternates narrative scenes and ukiyo-e-inspired motifs: a Japanese samurai sitting in a traditional interior, surrounded by goldfish (kingyo) swimming among maple trees and stylized mountains.
The border is highlighted with cranes (tsuru) in red clouds, symbols of longevity and happiness.

Inside, a central medallion reprises the theme of goldfish and maple leaves.
A harmonious and poetic piece, emblematic of the Meiji Imari Kinrande style, where the gilding magnifies the finesse of the hand-painted decor.
