The hanhaba obi is a traditional Japanese "half-width" belt, narrower than a formal obi, used to close a yukata or a casual kimono with a simpler and lighter knot. It perfectly complements a yukata, a casual kimono or a Japanese-inspired outfit. Its format is ideal for beginners as well as for kimono coordination enthusiasts.

    Pattern

This maru hanhaba obi features a superb Japanese seigaiha wave pattern, woven in gold brocade on a soft background blending silvery ivory and powder pink. The reflections of the gold thread bring a lot of light, while maintaining a delicate, refined and easy-to-match aesthetic.

100% silk, patterns on both sides
Made of silk, this obi offers a flexible and elegant feel, with a beautiful hold when tied. Its maru hanhaba construction means that the fabric is decorated on both sides, allowing you to play with visible folds, lapels and knots depending on the desired style.

    🦝 Our opinion:

A superb silk obi, very chic but still understated. Of course, we love its gold seigaiha pattern! Perfect for a Japanese outfit, to belt a dress with character or as a decoration.
