    This vintage 100% cotton yukata 浴衣, a traditional lightweight Japanese kimono, is captivating with its beautiful contrast between a gray and black ichimatsu 市松 checkered background and a bright floral decoration of sakura 桜, Japanese cherry blossoms. The shades of pink, red, blue, and cream bring freshness to the pattern, while the checkerboard adds a very elegant graphic presence. Light, supple, and breathable, this yukata is a very beautiful piece for summer.

    The fabric features a pattern of sakura flowers, petals, and stylized small flowers, arranged on a dark gray and black Japanese ichimatsu checkerboard background.     To preserve this cotton Japanese yukata, it is recommended to prefer hand washing in cold water or gentle machine washing, without prolonged soaking. Dark colors, especially indigo dyes, may bleed during the first washes: it is therefore advisable to wash the item separately. If in doubt about color fastness, it is best to do a discrete test before washing or to entrust the item to a dry cleaner for dry cleaning. Tumble drying should be avoided.
